That place in stockbridge you used to love.
It has been our pleasure to serve you over the past eighteen months, but our timing was terrible. We opened three months before the first Covid lockdown. We’ve since weathered various setbacks, including road closures, eight-foot barriers being installed directly outside our windows, gasworks drilling endlessly for months on end, Covid restrictions, and, most recently, a flood.
We have done our absolute hand-on-heart best, but it is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye, and thank you for your custom, friendship and support.
All is not lost. See below for our suppliers...
We couldn't have done it without our excellent suppliers. You'll find the carrot cake, the vegan chocolate cake, the lime and coconut and lemon sticky ginger at Archipelago on Dundas Street.
The cheddar and leek tarts and the vegan sausage rolls were also courtesy of Archipelago on Dundas Street. They sell them in their cafe and provide them wholesale to other places.
Missing the parsnip cake? The apple crumble pie? The bourbon pecan pie? Or the GF lemon polenta. Head over to Suki Bakes.
You can pick these up at The Filmhouse cafe and other places. Expertly made by the wonderful Sue at Scottish Fridge Cake company.
The wonderful Arthur from Baked or Naked in Glasgow provided our vegan/GF cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding cake.
We got all our veggie cheeses from Mellis the cheesemonger (of course) and the delicious bread from Company Bakery. That's all you need. Great ingredients lovingly put together.
The coffee was our own blend from Limini. The teas came from The Tea People, a social enterprise company who donate 50% of their profits into educating the children of the tea pickers. Our organic dairy milk was from free range cows at Mossgiel Farm. And our oat milk of choice was Moma Barista.
